Therapy meets technology! Andrea Brognano, LMHC guides participants through the multidimensional aspects of cyberspace as a therapeutic setting. Gain enhanced insight surrounding the origin and background of online therapy and applied technology platforms, contexts and circumstances to be examined in determining appropriateness of online therapy for different client populations, as well as challenges and safeguards for maintaining client privacy and the ethical responsibilities of clinicians providing services online.

 

Andrea Brognano, LMHC, Division Director of Development and Community Relations of Person Centered Care Services, an organization dedicated to working with individuals with disabilities. She also provides CBT based therapy in private practice. She strongly believes that all persons should be afforded opportunities they want and have the ability to do so through the right supports. Andrea began in the field as a Direct Support Professional and through her career has enjoyed the opportunity to see the continued individual growth of clients. Andrea’s clinical background also includes work in substance abuse through the YMCA Substance Abuse Clinic.
