Anger Management Through Play Therapy!

In this engaging and interactive training, therapists will gain a greater knowledge of how to help clients who struggle with anger through hands on activities, games, and worksheets. Participants will learn techniques to to engage with children who are oppositional, resistant, and even those in denial of their anger, helping them work towards achieving their therapeutic goals.

The training begins with helping clients with self-awareness, psychoeducation, and accountability and continues to shares ways about how to release and express anger, increase insight, and improve coping skills. (Trainer, Batsheva Hartstein, LCSW-C, RPT)

Learning Objectives

• Participants will be able to describe how to engage children who are resistant, oppositional, or in denial of their anger.
• Participants will be able to demonstrate knowledge of 2 activities and 2 worksheets to use in sessions to help clients with anger.
