Explore the nuances of resilience with Deborah Levinson, LCSW! Participants will gain further insights around this vital trait, and ways to help develop and nurture it in working with clients. We’ll address the research on concrete skills often exhibited by resilient people, study the “Four Rs” associated with resilience, as well as examine some sociological variables such as age and gender identity.

 

Deborah S. Levinson, LCSW is a practicing psychotherapist, trained at Johns Hopkins University, and has published research on how people mourn and create a new chapters in their lives following major loss. Mrs. Levinson has presented in a variety of venues across the United States, including Jewish Family Services Santa Barbara, CA, New York Clinical Social Work Society, Greater Washington Clinical Social Work Society, Psychiatric Institute, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York, Johns Hopkins, and U.S. Secret Service Employee Assistance. Mrs. Levinson has also served as an adjunct lecturer at Santa Barbara City College.

Participants will receive their certificate electronically upon completion of the webinar and course evaluation form.

CE You LLC #1573 is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. ACE provider approval period: 3/27/2021 – 3/27/2024.
