Altered State of Consciousness: The APA on Life After Death, Wednesday, 3-18-26 (Live Webinar)

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.

Rev. Dr. Karen Herrick explores how the American Psychological Association Book (Imants, 2023) has formally acknowledged life after death- as an Altered State of Consciousness. Though these developments in the mental health fields may be previously under-recognized to many practitioners, this recent book states there is consciousness after death due mainly to the many anomalous phenomena experienced as a result of Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), named in 1975. Participants will explore the complex nature of consciousness through a culturally-informed lens showing beliefs and practices related to death and the afterlife. It has been found that this life-after-death concept aids greatly for people in chronic grief. Your Boggle Threshold will be explained. *This webinar is live, real-time and interactive. Participants will earn 3 CE Credits – Cultural Competence.*
